Care

Each piece in the Maison Margarita collection is thoughtfully crafted to bring timeless elegance to your home. To preserve the beauty, integrity, and natural character of your furniture for years to come, we recommend following these general care guidelines:

  • Placement & Environment: Position your furniture away from direct heat sources, excess moisture, and prolonged sunlight to prevent natural warping, fading, or finish distress. Always ensure pieces sit on a level surface, and gently lift—never drag—furniture when repositioning.
  • Daily Cleaning & Surface Care: Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. For routine cleaning, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately with a clean towel. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive scouring pads, bleach, or silicone-based polishes, as these can strip protective finishes.
  • Surface Protection: To safeguard against heat, moisture rings, and scratches, always use coasters, placemats, and felt protective pads under tabletop accents. Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth—do not rub.
  • Upholstery Care: Vacuum upholstered elements gently using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and debris. Spot clean minor marks immediately using a mild, diluted soap solution and a soft cloth, taking care not to oversaturate the fabric.
  • Natural Character: Natural timber grain, hand-applied metallic patinas, and organic surface variations are intrinsic features of artisanal furniture, making every Maison Margarita piece uniquely yours.
